“This experience could not have been any better! Started off with great communication regarding our pickup (we hate not to be clear on pickup when unfamiliar with an area). Then once we arrived at the family farm we were transported back in history! The family could not have been more gracious. We really got an in depth look into how they have lived for so many generations on this farm. Going out into their garden to pick fresh veggies and gather eggs for us to return into their kitchen to prepare a traditional, yummy meal was just the icing on the cake! We also enjoyed some of their homemade brandy…”

“If you want to get to a really authentic out-of-the-way place in the hills near Dubrovnik for a delicious meal cooked in the traditional way with oak fire, hot bricks and iron bell cooking pot, do this. Yes, it's a bit pricey but wow for the food and for the scenic views. The restaurant is a converted railway station and along the way you will see lots of bunkers left over from the war, and the driver will be happy to tell the stories from times past.”

“Spent a great couple of hours letting our imagination run wild. Experimenting with colours and not being too worried about the outcome. The two ladies were really encouraging and helpful with advice. The food was lovely. The wine less so! But I’m a wine snob and I prefer red wine over white, but it did not dampen my spirits nor my enthusiasm. The evening is primarily about the art work of which I’m proud.”
