“Our skipper was great! He provided us water and wind jackets that were essential for the start of the day when it was cold. We lucked out with sunny weather and got to do all of the itinerary. The boat is like a Zodiac where you straddle the center. It was great to see the view from all angles, but can be a bit uncomfortable after extended periods of time. 3 hours felt like enough time on the island with the national park, although you could spend an entire day there. “The island itself is beautiful and worth seeing. The tour itself is somewhat advertised falsely as an E-bike tour when the bikes themselves are not included in the tour price (35 EUR per person). The boat that takes you out to the island is a large banana boat with uncomfortable seats and the ride takes close to 2 hours one way. The tour also says it includes drinks but we weren’t offered a drink at any time. So the tour price basically paid for an uncomfortable boat ride.”

“It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from Dubrovnik to Krka National Park, through Bosnia and Herzegovina. Once there, you ride a boat across the waterway into the park area, debark and then walk the trails to see myriades of waterfalls. We were there during a massive heat wave and, since it had not rained in a very long time, the decrease in the water levels was quite evident, but still spectacular. I recommend bringing a bathing suit because you can swim in many parts of the park where the waterfalls are.
